
Ronnie Gandy - President
Ronnie Gandy is a native of Hixson, Tennessee. Ronnie graduated from Soddy-Daisy High School in 1980 and from John A. Gupton College in Nashville, Tennessee in 1982 where he received his Associates Degree in Mortuary Science. In 1982 he joined the staff of Woodfin Funeral Chapel in Murfreesboro and Smyrna Tennessee where he now serves as the Senior Funeral Director and Embalmer. He is also a Certified Crematory Operator and a Notary Public of the State of Tennessee.
Ronnie, along with Woodfin Funeral Chapel, is a member of the National Funeral Directors Association, the Tennessee Funeral Directors Association where he served as Sergeant at Arms of the Middle Tennessee District during the 2013-2014 term, Selected Independent Funeral Homes (formerly NSM) and the Independent Funeral Group.
Ronnie is married to Becky Leach Gandy of Auburntown, Tennessee and they have two sons, Blake and Jonathan. He and his family are members of Living Springs Baptist Church. Ronnie has been a member of the Exchange Club of Murfreesboro for over 30 years and has served as President of the club. He is also a member of the Gideons International.
Andi Tibbs Poiner - 1st Vice President
Andi Tibbs Poiner was born and raised in Wooster, Ohio. She joined the Army one month after graduating high school and took a break in service to attend John A. Gupton. Andi graduated in the class of 1999 with an associate degree in Mortuary Science. She continued her education and received a BS in Psychology from Liberty University in 2006. She retired after twenty years of active Army service in 2013.
Andi and her husband, Darryl, reside on a 15-acre Martin, TN ‘farm’ with their two donkeys, two dogs and four cats. She is an embalmer with Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home and serves on the TFDA Auction Committee. She attends St. Jude Catholic Church and is a member of the Parish Advisory Council. Andi is also a Rotary Student Exchange Program host parent, a member of the John A. Gupton College Alumni Association, a board member of OPKIT (Operation Kitten Rescue), and active in community animal advocacy groups.
In addition to her rescue animals, Andi has one son, Sean Tibbs, who resides in Savannah, GA.
Delbrita L. Greene - 2nd Vice President
Delbrita L. Greene is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. She was born on July 25, 1983.
Delbrita is a graduate of Midfield High School, class of 2001. She is a 2006 graduate of Tennessee State University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Cardio-Respiratory Care Sciences. Delbrita completed her Associates of Arts in Funeral Service from John A. Gupton College in December 2013.
Delbrita started her funeral service career in 2010 at Lewis & Wright Funeral Directors in Nashville, TN. Since 2015 Delbrita has served as a Funeral Director at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home where she is currently employed.
Delbrita enjoys reading, shopping, and spending time with family and friends in her spare time.
Delbrita is a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in the State of Tennessee. She resides in Nashville, TN.
Tim Bond – Secretary
Tim is a native of Lebanon, TN and a graduate of Lebanon High School. He is a1989 graduate of John A. Gupton College in Nashville, TN with an Associates of Arts Degree in Funeral Service. He is a third generation funeral director. Tim worked at Woodbine Funeral Home in Nashville, TN for 16 years prior to joining Pierce Chemicals/Royal Bond as a sales representative and serving Tennessee, Alabama, and Kentucky. He is a member of Claiborne Masonic Lodge and Al Menah Shrine Temple. Tim is also a veteran of the United States Army.
Tim is a member of the Tennessee Funeral Supply & Sales Club (TFSSC), and the Tennessee Funeral Director’s Association (TFDA). Tim has served as President of the TFSSC and has served on the education committee for the TFDA. Tim is an active member of the John A. Gupton College Alumni Association; serving as President for the Alumni Association for 2013-2014.
Bill Hudson - Treasurer
A native of Springfield, OH, Bill is a 1991 graduate of John A Gupton College. Bill has a diverse background in funeral service holding management positions in both funeral home operations and the casket industry. After graduating from Gupton, Bill worked with both the Loewen Group and SCI and then joined Delta Casket Company in 1997 as a sales representative for Kentucky, Illinois, Southeast MO and Northeast Arkansas. In 2000, Delta acquired West Point Casket and Weiss Funeral Supply from The York Group. At that time, Bill was promoted to Regional Sales Manager for Delta. In 2005, Delta merged with Aurora Casket and Bill became the Director of Sales for the Southeast Region. In 2013, Bill was promoted to Vice President of Sales for Aurora and relocated to Cincinnati where he sits on the senior staff responsible for the company’s daily sales operations and sales staff. Bill is an avid golfer and has chaired the TFDA/TFSSC Golf Tournament for the last 7 years. He also currently serves as Treasurer for the John A Gupton College Alumni Association and is Past President of the Funeral Directors of Kentucky Sales Club. Bill is married to his wife Sherri and they have 2 children, Will (14) and Gillian (11).
